The challenge

High street shop located in the ancient market town of Alnwick, England.

It is just around the corner from the famous Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens. Due to its location, Ruby Tuesday attracts many visitors throughout the year.

The owner needed a new visual identity and a e-shop that would allow their clients to order online the amazing gifts the store has to offer.

We were asked to create a new visual identity that would showcase the variety that the shop offers. The owners also wanted to emphasise via their identity the careful consideration that they put in selecting all items for their shop as these constitute perfect and unique gifts for every life occasion.

our approach

We initiated the creative process with a brand intensive workshop to understand the current position of the store and its importance to the local community.

The visual identity needed to reflect the premium character of the products that Ruby Tuesday has to offer.

The vision of the brand was to become the destination store for those trying to discover the perfect gift. No matter what the occasion is, Ruby Tuesday is the "gift land" providing a unique experience to their customers.

the concept

The logo mark is an abstract translation of combining a box with the letter R.

The colour palette combines earthy tones with a dark blue and a lighter blue colour.
